The CECF-9 is a very compact, lightweight and easy to use instrument to compare any color to any shade to up to 5000 stored color codes.

Within a split second after the measurement, the CECF-9 displays the two closest colours in terms of the exact colour code including a symbol that indicates how close the measured colour is matching the stored shade.

No sign = measured sample colour is within 1.5 ∆E*ab of stored shade

Sign + = measured sample is between 1,5 to 3.0 ∆E*ab of stored shade

Sign ++ = measured sample is > 3.0 ∆E*ab of stored shade     

At any time you are free to change the content of the total memory of your CECF-9 with the included Data Management Software. This software enables you to modify your data and to simply copy them into the EPROM of other CECF-9 instruments. With these unique features, the concept of the CECF-9 is perfectly suited for color specifiers, designers, architects and sales organisations in the paint and coating industry or as color identifier in Do-it-yourself stores.

With its sphere (8°:di) geometry, the 8 mm large aperture and the tungsten lamp illumination, the CECF-9 is far more precise and reliable instrument then typical other devices targeting a similar usage.

Operation is as simple as counting from 1 to 3:

1. Switch Power on

2. Calibrate with the attached calibration tile inside the protection cap

3. Measure the sample and see the 2 closest notations
